TWO Urban Licks is one of America’s best outdoor restaurants according toTravel + Leisure. The accolade is earned from a patio that opens up to the BeltLine Eastside Trail, bocce ball courts, an herb & vegetable garden, and killer skyline views of downtown Atlanta.
Inside is quite dramatic, too. The dining room’s central feature is a high energy kitchen with a floor-to-ceiling rotisserie and open wood-fire pit where the meats and fishes are grilled to perfection. A few of the more celebrated menu items include:
- Salmon Chips loaded with short smoked salmon, chipotle cream cheese, capers, and red onion
- Lamb Lollipops served with grape chile jam and goat cheese
- Pork Shoulder with NY baked cheddar macaroni and pork jus
- Bronzed Sea Scallops served over smoked gouda grits in a tomato broth
The wine barrel presentation is the only one of its kind in the United States. The barrel wall stands 26 feet tall and holds 72 stainless steel barrels of wine with a gravity delivery system. The barrels are displayed in a glass and steel, temperature controlled tower designed exclusively for TWO urban licks.
To complete the ambiance, there’s live, smokin’ blues played nightly, Tuesday through Saturday.
From the outside, you would never guess this would be the location of one of Atlanta’s most popular and upscale restaurants. TWO urban licks is located directly on the BeltLine at 820 Ralph McGill Boulevard, Atlanta, GA 30306 in an adaptive reuse of an old warehouse.
TWO is open 7 nights a week serving dinner and late night supper starting at 5:30 p.m. daily.
