We’re going to start giving away money. So we hid a twenty dollar bill today.
Perhaps we should explain:
1. We are unabashed Ambassadors of the BeltLine Lifestyle. It’s because we are grateful to claim as our neighborhood a band of emerging infraculture that is arguably the best thing to happen to Atlanta in a long while. Part of our mission at BeltLandia is to promote buying local from the best businesses, restaurants, shopping, and services in the corridor.
2. Our work is helping home Buyers and Sellers on the Line and it’s adjoining neighborhoods and it’s been a good year. So we want to pay it forward and return a little to the community that is giving us so much.
We’ve had the privilege in the past few months to help several folks find a home in Adair Park, which is a resurgent neighborhood on the coming Westside Trail section of the BeltLine. So we hid a $20 bill in that community today. We stashed it in the vicinity of this pic:
We hope whoever finds it will spend it locally. Let’s jump start the Westside Trail economy!
Above all, we’re happier when we give than when we receive, right? Plus, it just seems like it’d be a blast to do it in the style of a scavenger hunt for hidden treasure. If it turns out to be as much fun as we anticipate, we want to start hiding twenties around the BeltLine on a regular basis. Then we’ll provide clues to their whereabouts by email, twitter, and facebook.
If you find the twenty in Adair Park or any of those we hide in the future, can you do us a solid and email, tweet, or message us with a pic of you and your found #beltlinebucks?
Happy hunting…
